Dean is in need of a soft place to land. After living with 177 dogs his whole life, the many changes he has experienced in the last few weeks have some as a shock to him. He is stressed being here, but is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. He will need a calm home that will allow him plenty of time to learn what it's like to be an important part of someone's life and heart, things he's never had the honor of experiencing. He is 6-8 years old and a stout 42 pounds. Dean would do fine as an only dog or with a female dog. Dean is a sweet guy who needs a hero to give him everything he did not know he was missing!
