About Maddie
Meet Maddie: a one-year-old Beagle/Lab mix who's got energy to burn and a real love of life. Every day starts at full speed with her, and she's looking for a family ready to match her enthusiasm. Maddie’s happiest when she gets to stay active and engaged—her ideal day involves learning new tricks, long walks, and a chance to impress you with how smart she can be. She’s crate trained, house trained, and knows her basic commands. Leash manners are a work in progress, but she’s eager to improve. Maddie is charmingly jumpy and excitable, especially when she’s happy, which is most of the time. Because of her boundless energy and tendency to get a little carried away, she’s not a fit for homes with young children. Maddie needs someone who will set consistent boundaries, and who enjoys a dog that wants a job to do. She’ll thrive with an adopter who has experience or is willing to stay patient and committed to her structure and training. If you’re local to Dallas and want a dog who is always up for fun—and happy to keep you on your toes—Maddie is waiting. She’ll challenge you, make you laugh, and give you her best every day. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
