Meet Snow! Snow is a 6-week-old female Great Pyrenees mix (almost purebred — mostly Pyr with just a dash of Collie!) who had quite the entrance into the world. Her mom was found as a stray and taken in by a kind Good Samaritan just in time — she delivered her puppies the very next day, and Snow has been safe and thriving ever since. Snow may be one of the quieter pups at first glance, but don’t let that fool you — she absolutely loves wrestling and tackling her siblings during playtime! She’s a curious little explorer who enjoys discovering the world at her own pace. Her favorite things include soaking up the sunshine, splashing in water, and bouncing through tall grass and flowers like the fluffy little cloud she is. For such a young pup, Snow is already doing fantastic with her manners. She’s rocking potty training for her age and even sits calmly for nail trims — pretty impressive for a fluffy baby! Snow has been raised around other dogs, cats, and kids and has done wonderfully with everyone. Like any Great Pyrenees, she will grow into a large dog and will thrive with a family ready for the grooming, training, and lifelong commitment that comes with a big guardian breed. Snow will be available for foster-to-adopt starting March 9th. Foster-to-adopt means Snow would come home with you while she finishes her remaining vetting (such as vaccines and spay when age-appropriate) through Ruff Road Revival. During this time, she remains a rescue dog in our program, and once her vetting is completed, the adoption will get finalized. This allows puppies to safely go home earlier while ensuring they receive all required medical care.
