He tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and is currently being treated with antibiotics and pain medication for his wounds. He is safe now and healing well. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, normal lives - especially in a stable indoor home. FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, meaning Jelly Roll can potentially live peacefully with other friendly, non-aggressive cats.
