Buck @ The Cat's
AvailableBuck is a large, adult male domestic short hair/tabby cat sporting a striking orange-red coat. He is neutered and currently located in Montello, WI. House living suits him well, and he gets along with dogs, cats, and children—making him a flexible companion for a variety of homes. While he doesn’t have any special dietary needs, future adopters should be prepared to monitor his ears due to past issues. Buck is a loving, sociable cat eagerly searching for a caring family.
About Buck @ The Cat's
Buck is a big, gentle cat with a huge heart, carrying a past that would have left most animals wary, yet he remains open and trusting. He spent much of his life surviving outdoors and lost not just shelter but his feline family when a barn fire took the only home he’d known. Despite these hardships, Buck found small comforts from a kind neighbor, and eventually came into shelter care with his vaccinations and neutering done. What Buck truly misses, though, is companionship—other cats, dogs, and the energy of a real home. He’s the sort of cat who finds happiness near people or animals, enjoys being petted and held, and is easygoing about sharing space. Buck particularly hopes to be adopted into a home with one or more friendly cats—he’d thrive as part of a pack and gets along with dogs and children, too. Buck’s mellow, affectionate nature would make him a steady and loving presence in almost any family. He does have a medical history: he’s had a polyp removed from his ear, which leaves him at risk for chronic ear infections, so future monitoring and care are needed. All things considered, Buck offers a rare loyalty, warmth, and the promise of genuine companionship to whoever welcomes him home. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
