Well hello there, my name is Poppie, and I am a ten pound bundle of scruffy charm with a heart that is even bigger than my whiskers. I am a five year old Terrier mix, neutered and ready to start the very best chapter of my life, the one where I finally get to belong to someone. I have had a bit of an adventure before finding my way to Happy Bark. I was a stray, out there making my own way in the world, but if you ask me, I am much more suited to soft beds, warm laps, and people who tell me how handsome I am. I passed all my testing with flying colors, because I am not just cute, I am also a very good boy. I am sweet as can be, the kind of fellow who will look up at you with my bright little eyes and make you feel like you are the most important person in the whole wide world. I get along nicely with other dogs, so if you already have a canine buddy, I would be happy to join the pack. Cats do not bother me either, I am polite and respectful, just a gentle gentleman all around. At ten pounds, I am the perfect size for just about anything. I can trot right along on your walks, my little legs keeping a steady pace, and when the day is done, I will happily curl up beside you. I have that classic terrier spirit, curious and alert, but I balance it with a calm, loving nature that makes me easy to adore. What I really want is a person or a family to call my own. Someone who will see past my scruffy coat and notice the loyal, affectionate soul inside. I promise to give you my whole heart, my best cuddles, and plenty of happy little tail wags.
