​ Hugo is an adorable spaniel mix puppy born in late October and currently tipping the scales at about 24 lbs—and he’s right in the thick of that classic puppy stage where everything is a chew toy and every moment is an opportunity for fun. This boy is very active and thrives on supervision, interaction, and engagement. Hugo is happiest when he has people to play with, toys to explore, and outlets for his puppy energy. While he does enjoy a good snuggle now and then, his favorite thing in the world is playing with the resident dog, making him an excellent candidate for a home with another playful canine companion. That said, Hugo could also do well as an only dog—as long as his family is committed to providing plenty of playtime, enrichment, and attention. Hugo is looking for an active, engaged family who understands the time and patience puppies need and is ready to help him grow into a well-mannered, happy adult dog.
