This sweet, soulful 46-lb spaniel mix, estimated to be 6–8 years old, is currently being cared for at a wonderful doggie daycare. While he’s safe there, Gabriel is heartworm positive and cannot begin his life-saving treatment without a foster home. Fostering Gabriel means: Providing a quiet, loving home where he can rest and heal Bringing him to the vet for 2–3 scheduled treatment visits (all coordinated and supported) Offering him what he’s missed for too long: a warm bed, gentle care, and companionship The rest of the time? Gabriel just wants to be loved. He has already waited over 3 months to start treatment, and it is urgent that he begins as soon as possible.
