About Pixie The Lab Mix
Available for Adoption starting February 28th! Pixie is a beautiful light tan girl with a soft black mask and the most delicate, gentle personality. One of the smaller pups in her litter, she can be a little shy when first picked up — but once she’s settled in your arms, she melts right into you for the sweetest snuggles. Pixie has a quiet charm and tender spirit that makes her especially special. She does well with other dogs, has been fostered with her mom and siblings, and is playful and gentle with children. Pixie’s story began in Texas, where her mom, Maggie, was found as a stray on an oil rig job site. After being rescued, Maggie safely delivered her puppies in foster care. At four weeks old, Pixie and her siblings made the journey to Wisconsin, where they have been growing, learning, and thriving in a loving foster home. Pixie is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to build confidence and blossom into the wonderful companion she’s meant to be. She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She is working on her potty training, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home as she is just a young puppy. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
