Arriving in Wisconsin on March 20th! Mims is a sweet approximately 2-year-old Labrador-type mix who recently arrived at a shelter in rural Texas along with her litter of puppies. She has a beautiful brindle coat, warm brown eyes, and a friendly, gentle personality that quickly wins people over. Despite having a litter to care for, Mims has remained affectionate and people-focused, happily greeting everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a soft smile. Now that her puppies are growing and preparing for their own homes, Mims is ready for a second chance at a life of her own. She enjoys attention from people and seems to have a calm, easygoing demeanor. She would likely do well in a variety of homes, whether that’s with a family looking for a loyal companion or someone simply wanting a loving dog to share their daily life. Mims is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped, and she will come with her veterinary records as well as an interstate health certificate from a veterinarian confirming she is healthy for travel. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI, where she will be available to meet—and take home if she is a good fit—by the first family to place an exclusive hold deposit. Her adoption fee is $500, which helps support the many animals in our care whose medical needs far exceed their adoption fees. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The remaining balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting and finalizing the adoption. If, upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, as we only accept one deposit per dog.
