About Maggie Mae The Lab
Available for Adoption starting February 28th! Maggie Mae earned her name because she most resembles her beautiful mama. This sweet black puppy has just a touch of white on a few of her back toes — a subtle little signature marking that makes her extra special. She has a playful, loving personality and enjoys interacting with resident dogs. Maggie Mae happily joins in on fun with her siblings while also soaking up attention from her people. She carries herself with a quiet confidence, very much like her mom. Maggie Mae’s story began in Texas, where her mom, Maggie, was found as a stray on an oil rig job site. After being rescued, Maggie safely delivered her puppies in foster care. When the babies were four weeks old, they made the journey to Wisconsin and have been growing and thriving in a loving foster home ever since. She is fostered with her mom and siblings, does well with other dogs, and is playful and gentle with children. Maggie Mae is ready to find a forever family who will cherish her sweet heart, playful spirit, and confident nature. She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. She is working on her potty training, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home as she is just a young puppy. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
