Everyone say hi to Charlie! Charlie is a sweet 5 year old who had a rough start to life. Because of this, she is weary of strangers but once she knows its safe she turns into a SWEETHEART. Charlie is cuddly, loving, potty trained, decent on a leash, friendly with dogs, ok with cats, good in the car and a pretty chill girl. Shes on the smaller side, around 40 lbs. Also due to her rough start in life, Charlie is heartworm positive (will receive treatment) and is being treated for Lyme disease. The rescue pays for her treatments. The rescue can also arrange for transport to our partner veterinarian for treatments if needed. Heartworms and Lyme disease in dogs are not contagious from dog to dog or to humans.
