About Bubba Gump
Life is like a box of treatsāyou never know what youāre gonna get⦠but with me, itās loyalty, energy, and a whole lot of heart. Iām Bubba Gump, a 3 year old, 65 pound German Shepherd mix with a big personality and even bigger potential. Iāve spent my whole life on a chain, so the world is still new to me, but Iām ready to trade that old life in for belly rubs, training sessions, and a real home. Iām house-trained like a champ, crate trained, and Iām working hard on not pulling on the leash. I know basic commands like āsitā and āwait,ā and Iām eager to learn moreāespecially if treats are involved. Iāve got a ton of energy, and I really need a dog-savvy family who understands that a guy like me needs structure, exercise, and patience. Once Iāve had my zoomies and time to play, I can settle down and relax like the best of āem. You see I have never really learned how to "dog". Iām not a fan of cats and might be too much for little kids since I could accidentally knock them over or help myself to their snacks . Iāll probably be shy or nervous in a new environment at first, but with time and love, Iāll blossom. If you're the kind of person who loves a project with a huge payoff, Iām your Bubba. I may be rough around the edges, but Iāve got all the makings of a loyal, loving best friend. All I need is a second chance. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form!
