About Molly Mia Courtesy Listing
Mia Molly is looking for an adoptive family or person to call her own and forever. She was found in the streets of Dunkirk about 2 months ago, extremely cold and frightened. It took her about 2 weeks to start trusting her caregivers enough to crawl out of her bed and safe zone. After a few more days and weeks, she broke loose of some of the invisible chains of fear and history of abuse, showing more and more of her loving, loyal, trusting, playful personality. Molly is probably around 2-3 years old, weighs about 55 pounds, rides well in the car, gets along with cats, and is doing fine with a small male dog. She is house broken but needs to be carried out sometimes (despite not wanting), due to the cold and her traumatic experience of having been left outside for long periods of time. She has successfully used pee pads when needed. She doesnât seem to have experience being on a leash. She loves playing fetch and parading around with her favorite toys. She is a sweetheart that will easily steal your heart. Due to her traumatic past experiences, it may take her longer to warm up to men. Mia Molly has not been spayed yet, but will be once arrangements are made through the DCO or the rescue that will take her under their wing to help her find a loving family. Just what is a Courtesy Listing? It is a list of dogs who, through no fault of their own, are looking for a new home. NCCR has agreed to post these dogs until a home is found. Any adoption and rehoming fee will be arranged through the dogâs caregiver. If you are interested in Mia Molly, just complete the application found on her page at www.caninerescue.org. The application will be forwarded to her caregiver, where applications are reviewed and contact made to the interested parties. Please review the description to be sure you and the dog would be a good match. Thank you!
