Maximillian, or Max as he’s called, is a medium-sized mixed-breed pup with a fresh outlook after a rough start. He recently had surgery for his cherry eye and is now eager for a family who values patience and kindness. Still under a year old, Max is figuring out the basics of being a beloved house dog. Despite past malnourishment, he’s bounced back—now, food and treats top his wish list, but good company is just as important. Max gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy or two. He needs a family who’ll spend time with him as he settles into his new life, teaching him with gentle consistency and plenty of encouragement.
