She previously lived with dogs her size and did well, and since coming into our care she's been learning how to walk on a leash, build confidence, and explore the world around her. In just a short time, we've already started to see her playful, sweet personality shine through ✨ Valentina would benefit from a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to go at her pace and help her continue to blossom. A home with another confident, friendly dog could be a big help in showing her the ropes and boosting her confidence. She does not have known history with cats or children. As a Yorkie mix, regular grooming will be a must. Valentina came to us severely matted and needed to be completely shaved down, so her future family should be prepared to keep up with routine grooming to keep her comfortable and healthy as her coat grows back.
