Lionel is my name, I’m male, 2yrs, Great Pyrenees mix, 70lbs, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I am playful, young at heart, a social butterfly, have a big bark with the softest heart, a swimmer, LIVE to hop in the truck with you always, and a total outdoor enthusiast! My breed is verified with a DNA test, 56% Great Pyrenees. You can find me walking fabulously on a leash in my foster family’s neighborhood and the local arboretum, romping around oh so well across 20+ acres at Meadow Run Dog park, enjoying my fair share of doggie ice cream at the local Thirsty Hound dog bar, and always game for a shopping trip to Dog Daze boutique where they give me a pup cup every time I stop by, score! I am fantastic with other dogs, proven with all the furry sibs in my foster home! I am leash, potty, and car trained. I am fully vetted with all my vaccines up to date, neutered, and microchipped too. I was rescued as a stray in the Mississippi woods with a bad case of mange (see my before picture above). Luckily, Charlie’s Rescue scooped me up and into safe and loving arms. Check out all the hair I’ve grown back already! The vet says I am looking real good too! I was transported North to Michigan because my foster family couldn’t resist how cute I was and with such a hard start in life; they knew they had to be a part of my journey!
