Denali joined us last night, so we’re very much in the getting-to-know-you phase. He’s a 1 year old Doberman Pinscher Mix, about 35 lbs, with LOTS of energy and personality. He’s still adjusting to home life — the crate isn’t his favorite yet, and we’re working on building routines and trust as he settles in. He has shown some resource guarding during this transition, which we’ll continue helping him work through as he feels more secure. He would do best in a home without cats, but loves to play with the other dogs It’s early and so much of this is just part of decompressing.
