Meet #Brian Brian came to us as a stray, wandering this world without a family to call his own. When he was found, he was wearing a collar — one that looked much too big for him. And that right there tells us something… at some point in his life, somebody cared. Somebody put that collar on him. We don’t know how he ended up alone, and we may never know his full story. But we do know this boy is incredibly sweet. Brian is a short, petite little guy — about 40 pounds of pure love. He’s not a big, intimidating dog at all… just a compact little boy with a gentle spirit. Yes… his ears were chopped. Someone once made the choice to try to make him look “tough.” But Brian is anything but tough. He is kind. He is soft. He just wants to belong. He walks beautifully on a leash. He goes in and out of his crate with ease. He is very treat and food motivated — which means he would love to learn and bond with his person. He wants guidance. He wants connection. He wants a second chance. We are asking for no small children at this time simply because we do not know his past, and we always want to set our dogs — and their future families — up for success. He doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here, but he has not been formally dog or cat tested yet. Brian is not “just another stray.” He’s a dog who once had a collar. A dog who once belonged to someone. And now he’s waiting for someone new to choose him again.
