Meet Poppy! Poppy is an absolutely adorable 3–5-year-old Bichon who’s learning what it means to be safe and loved for the very first time. She’s still a little slow to warm up and isn’t quite ready to come to you on her own just yet, but when you pet her, you can feel the joy and trust starting to grow. Poppy loves spending time in the yard, happily running and playing with her dog friends. Poppy is as soft as a cloud and will melt your heart with her gentle spirit. Poppy has not been around children or cats in her foster home, so her response to them is unknown. With patience, kindness, and a safe home, she will blossom into the happy, loving dog she’s meant to be. Her two main things she needs are a nice calm environment as well as a fenced in yard to roam.
