Meet Montana Some stories don’t have the ending we hoped for… Montana came to us as an owner surrender. We truly thought someone would come back for him. We waited. And waited. But sadly… no one did. Now this sweet boy is sitting here at the shelter, trying to understand why his world changed — while we are absolutely filled to the brim with dogs. They are coming in from everywhere, and we are doing everything we can to keep up. It’s overwhelming… but dogs like Montana are exactly why we keep pushing forward. And let us tell you about him: He keeps his kennel clean (total gentleman). He walks nicely on a leash. He seems dog friendly. We have not cat tested him. He is truly as sweet as can be. Montana is a pure delight. The kind of dog who looks at you with soft eyes and just wants to belong. He’s not asking for much — just a second chance. A warm bed. A family that won’t leave him behind. We are anxiously trying to find him a home because the shelter is bursting at the seams, and he deserves more than waiting in a kennel while life passes him by.
