Meet Nugget, she is a two-year-old small Terrier mix who weighs 44 pounds. She is a calm, sweet girl with a gentle soul. She does great in her crate, rarely barks, and is very easygoing. She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly and shows her loving personality once comfortable. She walks nicely on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is very low-maintenance. Nugget isn’t very interested in other dogs but does well with her sister and enjoys playing with her. One of Nugget’s cutest features is her adorable underbite. She enjoys affection, pets, and attention, though she’s not a big cuddler. Nugget is still unknown with cats and kids, but her calm nature suggests she would do well. Meet Daisy, she is a one-year-old Labrador Retriever mix and weighs 53 pounds. She is a sweet, sensitive girl who needs a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe, her affectionate personality shines. She loves cuddling, hugs, and being close to her person. She walks on a leash but does pull and would benefit from continued training. Daisy rides calmly in the car and is crate-trained. She has done well with other dogs and enjoys playing, especially with her foster siblings, but has not been fully dog tested yet. Daisy has not been tested with kids or cats. She would do best in a patient, loving home where she can continue building confidence and trust. These two girls were surrendered due to their owner being placed in a care facility due to dementia and her husband passed away. They are located in Houston, Texas. However, we transport to most states for an additional fee of $300, and a generous donor will cover the remaining portion.
