Meet Kaskae (pronounced Cass-Kay)! My foster family gave me the name Kaskae because I remind them of the Coca-Cola polar bear — I’m all white, except for a few adorable spots on my belly. I may look like a little snow bear, but I promise I’m full of warmth and love. I have a sister, Bernadette, who is also looking for her forever home. We’re similar in many ways — playful, energetic, and curious — but I’m a little more shy and reserved than she is. I like to take a moment to observe before jumping into the action. My story began when my brave mama, a stray Shih Tzu, chose her rescue by jumping into my foster family’s car in an old parking lot. Not long after, my sister and I made our unexpected arrival. We’re not sure what breed my dad was, but whatever he was, he gave me my playful spirit. I’m active and love to play, especially with my sister. We “play fight” all the time, and she wins most of the matches — even though I’m bigger (but don’t tell her I admitted that). If I used all my strength, I might win more often… but I’m a gentleman. That doesn’t stop me from chasing her around the yard though! My dream forever home would have someone who wants to play, explore, and give me lots of love and attention.
