About Lenny

Lenny has an arresting little face and a soft, short gray tabby coat that always looks a bit surprised. Now about 9 months old, Lenny came in from a December snowbank with his mom—a rough start for such a gentle cat. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and has been thoroughly vetted while settling in at Lakeshore Animal Friends. At first, Lenny tends to hang back, watching new people from a distance, but give him a little time and he’ll lean right into your hand for attention. He’s a sucker for a toy spring or a mouse, and won’t turn down treats or wet food. Lenny thrives around other cats and is happiest with feline company, though he hasn’t met any dogs yet. Look past the initial shyness and you’ll find a loving companion who’s just figuring out his place in the world. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Lenny

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

A tabby like Lenny typically does well in most home environments, from apartments to houses, as long as he has cozy spots to relax and places to climb. He’ll appreciate a home where he can feel secure, especially considering his shy side.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Lenny, like most domestic cats, is content as an indoor-only pet. He doesn't need outdoor space—window perches and some room to play inside will keep him happy and healthy.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Lenny’s tabby breed is generally good with children, but since he’s initially shy, older or gentle kids are best until he settles in. His playful, affectionate side comes out once he feels comfortable.
