Clyde is a handsome one-year old male Hound mix who arrived at HSOV on February 12, 2026 after he was picked up on Third Street (300 Block) by a Marietta Ohio City Policeman. Clyde was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog license tag on his collar .. And he was not microchipped. This young man has a brown short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with bi-colored (heterochromia) eyes, a black button nose, a slender muzzle, and short floppy ears. Clyde's left eye is blue and his right eye is brown/blue which gives him a unique facial appearance. Clyde was super friendly when these photos were taken on February 14th 2026 while he was enjoying some fresh air and sunshine in one of our outdoor kennels while his floor crate/blankets were being cleaned. Clyde weighs 45 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Clyde was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Surprisingly, nobody called or came looking for this sweet boy.
