Bert and his brother Ernie came into rescue together, and we think they were used for breeding. Like his brother, Bert loves attention and being with his human(s) as much as possible. He gets along with other dogs and lives with dogs of all sizes and ages in his foster home. He would be a great travel companion as he loves to go for rides and make new friends. He is good on a leash and would enjoy walks, but of course, with all brachycephalic breeds, his humans have to be cautious of hot weather (especially when it is humid) even more than other breeds. Bert is crate-trained and will ask to go out before going inside. Since his foster mom is home most of the time, he has not had any issues, but he might need more training if left alone for several hours. He is fully vetted - current with vaccines, neutered, micro chipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
