Hey everyone, I’m Pinto! I’m an uber CUTE 2.5-year-old Cocker Spaniel boy with 25 pounds of pure energy and charm. I’m the kind of dog who lives for adventure, playtime, and the open road — literally. Have you ever seen a more majestic sight than me with my ears flapping in the wind out a car window? I think not. Speaking of play, fetch is basically my love language. Throw it, I’ll bring it back. I also love a good game of tug of war, so if you’ve got a doggie sibling at home who’s up for the challenge, we are going to be BEST FRIENDS. My dream home is a single family house with a fenced yard where I can run, play, and live my best life. I can be a little reserved and do best with slow introductions to new dogs and people, so patience is key — but once I warm up to you, I am all in. I LOVE belly rubs (oh yes, the belly rubs) and seek out my humans for attention but I’m not really a hugger. I’m mostly housebroken and will master this skill on a consistent potty schedule. I also do great sleeping in my own dog bed at night. On leash, I’m okay, though I can get a little nervous and barky when I spot other dogs or people! That’s why I really prefer a backyard. I do best with older, dog-savvy kids who understand my vibe. I had a decent weekend with a cat once, so that’s a maybe — no promises though!
