About Pickles
Pickles tried the outdoor life for about three days, but quickly realized he much prefers a climate-controlled home. Now officially retired from adventuring, he's on the hunt for a permanent role as your indoor center of attention. His talents include veteran lap-occupying, insistent yet loving head-butts (when he thinks you aren't petting him enough), and a solid commitment to making sure you focus on him, not your screen or book. Pickles is deeply affectionate, and his head-butts scale with how much you're ignoring him. If you brush off his requests, heāll escalate from gentle nudges to full-on dramatic stares or strategic interruptions. A pro in the art of being adored, heāll claim you as his new favorite piece of furniture and expects top billing, especially if other cats are aroundāheās good with them, but make no mistake, he wants the starring role. This big tabby does nibble when overstimulated, but itās all harmless performanceāhe wears his feelings on his (short, soft) sleeve and just needs time and patience to fully unwind indoors. Because of this, he isnāt the best match for young children or anyone who may not read his cues about needing a break. Pickles shines with a foster or at adoption events, but heās ready for someone who appreciates his flair and affection. Born July 4, heās a Cancerāa classic homebody at heart. Pickles lives in Eugene, OR, and is looking for his next cozy spot. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
