About Murphy
Murphy is a senior tuxedo cat, about 11 years old, looking for a calm home with someone who understands cats. He’s got plenty of personality and enjoys sunbathing, chasing feathers and jingly balls like a much younger cat, and napping up high in the best spots. Losing his original family took a toll, so Murphy needs an experienced cat person who knows feline body language and will commit to giving him genuine comfort and patience. Murphy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Like all cats from SARA, he’s indoor only and should remain that way for his safety. He doesn’t get along with other cats or dogs—he’s happiest as the only animal in the home. This sweet guy deserves a gentle second act. Give him the chance for the devoted home he missed. Your new best friend is just one click away.
