Meet Chance 💙 Chance’s story is a heartbreaking one. Six years ago, he was adopted and thought he had found his forever home. He knew the comfort of a couch, the love of a family, and the safety of belonging. But life changed for his adopters, and through no fault of his own, Chance has found himself back at the rescue. After six whole years in a home, he’s now in a kennel again — confused, not eating well, and crying during volunteer shifts. He doesn’t understand why he lost his family… and honestly, neither do we. What we do know is that Chance is an incredibly sweet, loving boy who deserves a TRUE forever home. At around 9–10 years old, Chance is a wonderful older gentleman. He walks beautifully on a leash, has great manners, and is incredibly friendly with people. Right now, we are recommending a home with no other dogs while we continue dog testing to see how he may do with proper introductions over time. We are also currently unaware of how he would do in a home with children or cats. Chance has so much love left to give. He just needs someone willing to open their heart and give him the stability he thought he had.
