About Taco

Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Taco, a sweet two-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix looking for a loving home. Found as a stray in East Palestine, Taco was brought into the care of the rescue and is now learning how wonderful life can be with people who care. Although she may seem timid around new people or in unfamiliar situations, once she gets comfortable, Taco’s affectionate and gentle nature shines through. She is making impressive progress with her dog socialization skills and is starting to enjoy playtime, which is a joy to watch. While she works on perfecting her house manners, Taco already keeps her kennel clean at night and appears to be mostly housebroken. She gets along well with most other dogs and thrives with a little patience and encouragement. If you’re searching for a loving and loyal canine companion, Taco could be the perfect addition to your family. Adoption must be completed in person at the shelter, with paperwork required. If you live a distance away, please contact the shelter to confirm Taco's availability and vetting status before you travel. The adoption fee includes all essential care: heartworm testing, core vaccines, deworming, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, and a dog license. Foster-to-adopt options are also available if you want to be sure Taco is the right match. Your application helps save her and makes room for other animals in need. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
