Cashew is a nearly 2-year-old Yellow Lab / Basset Hound mix weighing about 55 pounds and sporting a gorgeous, rich golden coat. He's up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and both house trained and crate trained - ready to settle seamlessly into his forever home. Cashew is a friendly, easygoing, and affectionate pup who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kiddos. He has a gentle, lovable nature and the kind of warm, happy presence that makes him an instant favorite. He was surrendered through no fault of his own when his family moved into a rental that did not allow pets. Despite the change, Cashew has remained the same sweet, loving, and cheerful companion everyone adores. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet.
