About Scout
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Scout, a lovable 7-year-old Rottweiler who shows that adopting a senior is a rewarding choice. Once facing the euthanasia list due to a misunderstanding, Scout proved his affection for women (and snacks!) by bonding instantly with his rescuer. Since arriving in foster care, he's blossomed into a healthy, happy 102-pound cuddle expert with a gentle and goofy personality. Scout is crate trained, house trained, and adores his toys. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, shares space with ease, and has no food aggression—he even free feeds harmoniously with other pups. Thanks to his calm, steady temperament, he's left the puppy chaos behind and loves naps, snuggles, and following his people around. Now in the best stage of life, Scout is ready to make someone laugh, offer unwavering companionship, and show gratitude for his second chance every single day. If you want a loyal, affectionate best friend, Scout is waiting to meet you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
