Light, sweet, and impossible not to love — Meringue floats through life with a soft, happy spirit that makes everyone smile. She loves bouncing into playtime, batting at toys, and keeping close to whatever fun is happening. When playtime winds down, she happily settles in for gentle cuddles and quiet companionship. Meringue came to rescue as a bottle baby from the homeless camps when her owners could no longer care for the puppies. With a Chihuahua mom and an unknown dad, based on her current size we estimate she’ll be around 20–25 lbs full grown. She enjoys attention, being held, and staying close to her people throughout the day, always wanting to be part of the action. Like all puppies, Meringue will need continued training, structure, patience, and socialization as she grows. Consistent guidance will help her build confidence, good manners, and positive habits as she matures. She was born in October 2025 and is fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
