Meet Penny! She is 6 month old puppy who weighs 9 lbs. Penny is a tiny and adorable happy puppy. She is very playful, cheerful, and full of charm. During the day, she loves spending time playing with her sister, their favorite game is playfully nibbling and chasing each other until they get tired. After playtime, Penny happily curls up in her little bed and takes several cozy naps. She has a normal puppy energy level, she enjoys playing for a good while, but also sleeps a lot and loves her rest. Penny is very attached to her humans and follows them everywhere around the house like a little shadow. She truly enjoys being close to her family, especially when everyone is gathered watching TV and giving her gentle cuddles — that is one of her favorite moments of the day. At night, she sleeps peacefully cuddled up with her sister in the bed they share right next to her foster mom’s bed. She is well-behaved indoors and is used to staying inside the house without being destructive. Penny gets along well with other dogs and is extremely friendly and gentle with children — she absolutely loves playing with them. With cats, a slow introduction is recommended, but once she gets to know them, she loves to invite them to play. She is currently in training to use puppy pads and to walk on a leash. She is still learning, but she is making great progress every day. Penny is currently with a foster in Tijuana. Our next available transport date is 2/28/26. They must have either an approved foster or adopter in order to confirm their spot on the transport. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS IF THE DOG YOU APPLIED FOR IS COMING ON A TRANSPORT: If the dog you applied for is coming on a transport they will have a future arrival date within their profile. You will need to pick up in Puyallup at the set time & day you are asked to arrive (no other arrangements will be made). There will NOT be a meet and greet. We will not have fosters ready for the dogs planned to go on trial adoptions. For this reason, we will be asking for a $100 deposit for any dog going on a trial adoption at the arrival of the transport. Which will go towards their adoption fee.
