Meet Jimmy! He is a 1-year-old little boy who weighs 12 lbs. He is a very calm, gentle, and affectionate dog with a peaceful and loving personality. He enjoys the simple things in life, like going out to the patio to sunbathe during the day and taking cozy naps in his comfortable bed. Jimmy has a relaxed energy and a sweet presence that makes him the perfect companion. He is an excellent match for someone who spends a lot of time at home. Jimmy does not like being left home alone; he is happiest when he has company. He will lovingly follow you around like your little shadow, always keeping you company. If you are watching TV, he will cuddle close. If you are cooking, he will sit quietly and watch you. And when it’s time to sleep, he will follow you and lie beside you, as if he is watching over your dreams. Jimmy absolutely loves squeaky toys, especially his favorite pumpkin plush toy. Jimmy does not like being in a crate and will cry if confined. He also doesn’t enjoy being closed in a room or bathroom — he is a free soul who is happiest being able to move freely around the house. He gets along very well with dogs, cats, and children, but he is definitely more attached to humans than to a canine companion. He will peacefully coexist with other pets, though he is not very playful. He is very clean and goes outside to the patio to do his potty. Jimmy walks very well on a leash and has wonderful manners. He is an obedient, loving, and well-balanced dog who will bring warmth, comfort, and companionship to any home. Jimmy is currently with a foster in Tijuana. Our next available transport date is 2/28/26. They must have either an approved foster or adopter in order to confirm their spot on the transport. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS IF THE DOG YOU APPLIED FOR IS COMING ON A TRANSPORT: If the dog you applied for is coming on a transport they will have a future arrival date within their profile. You will need to pick up in Puyallup at the set time & day you are asked to arrive (no other arrangements will be made). There will NOT be a meet and greet. We will not have fosters ready for the dogs planned to go on trial adoptions. For this reason, we will be asking for a $100 deposit for any dog going on a trial adoption at the arrival of the transport. Which will go towards their adoption fee.
