Polar came in with several other cats from a Lansford-area farm, and her story is a little different from the rest. When her belly was shaved at the vet, the telltale scar showed Polar had already been spayed—she’d clearly been someone’s pet before. Instead of being put back outside with the barn cats, she was given time to adjust indoors. Turns out, Polar is extremely sweet and gentle, with a very laid-back nature that makes her easy to be around. She enjoys sunny spots, soft pets, and the occasional treat, and she’s happiest lounging or quietly exploring. While she’s lived alongside other cats and tolerates their company, she doesn’t mind having her own space.
