About Sandy

Sandy came to foster care from a large outdoor colony along with her siblings and mom. She's cautious with new places, but has quickly learned that indoors beats outdoor life in every way. Her favorite things now include ear scratches, belly rubs, and observing everything that goes on around her—food, play, and naps are close seconds. Sandy hasn't been around dogs or young kids, except for glimpses through the window at the adoption center, but her siblings handled these introductions well with a little time. There’s every reason to believe she’ll adjust too, especially with a patient adopter and slow introductions. Sharing her foster home with her sister, Sandy enjoys the companionship but they're not a bonded pair, so they don't have to be adopted together. She’s a sucker for canned food, a little shy at first, and has a silly habit of flipping backward out of arms when she's finished being held. Sandy’s first birthday makes her a Gemini—curious and clever. She’s looking for someone ready to be her next favorite human. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
