About Julius Chow Hound

Meet Julius, a shy, loving, affectionate little orange tabby guy with adorable white mitts and a little brown spot on his side for distinction. One of many kitties who came from a farm overrun with cats when one of the owners died, the other elderly who became overwhelmed with the cats overpopulating and unable to feed or care for those with medical needs. The location of the farm is located between two counties so the kitties who have been trapped are called the "south county line kitties" and are named after country western singers. Julius does present as shy but don't befooled. He is eagerly waiting for pets and once you begin he does not want you to stop. He also has the loudest purr in the room. Julius will almost do somersaults for you to keep petting him. He is one adorable punkin'. His unassuming charm, soft fur, and endearing eyes will entrance you. Julius would do great with a single adopter, a couple or a family with older respectful kids. Julius will need time to acclimate and trust but once he does, look out, as he will be a little love nugget. Julius would do well in a multi-cat household of friendly cats. Julius has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Julius has an approximate birthdate of 12/09/2024. His adoption fee is $95. If you are interested in Julius or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4. Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids. Thank you!
