Why choose me? Xena and Harley share a kennel, and when I first met them, Harley was ready to meet a new friend, but Xena was scared and didn't want to go outside. With Harley by her side, I was able to gain Xena's trust today and eventually walk her to an interaction pen. Harley is a sweet, calm girl, and that helped Xena. When Harley took treats from me and enjoyed pets, Xena stepped forward for treats, and I was able to pet Xena a few times before she backed away. She still needs more time to feel fully comfortable with new friends, but she's making progress. She's a sweet cutie, and if she keeps following her friend Harley's lead, she'll forget her worries and make lots of new friends.
