About Brix
Why choose me? Brix is a handsome German Shorthaired Pointer mix. He met me at his kennel gate and walked nicely to an interaction pen, but then all the barking from the kennels and gunfire from the shooting range down the road made him nervous. I decided he might need a canine friend and brought Octagon to the pen next to us. She helped him calm, and they had fun running along the fence and then taking treats from me. Brix was enjoying himself and coming to me to sit for more treats and a few pets until it was time to go, and he was worried about returning to his kennel. A caretaker came out to help and got Brix interested in playing fetch and catch. He loves both games and was having so much fun that he forgot about his worries again. Brix is a good boy but needs time to feel safe. His former owner said he's house trained and crate trained. I hope he finds a new family that's the right match for him.
