Holey has had a tough start, but you’d never guess that meeting him. Resilient, affectionate, and eager to please, this one-year-old Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix has recovered fully from old injuries and is now healthy, joyful, and ready for a true forever home. Holey was abandoned young and bounced back from a javelina attack, yet his spirit remained intact—he’s grown into a dog who absolutely lives for human company. He enjoys meeting people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. Leash trained and quick to hop in the car, Holey loves exploring outdoors, especially hiking down to the river to swim and fetch. He’s playful, a little goofy, and warms up quickly—even if he’s shy at first. After a day of adventure, he’ll happily curl up next to you. He’s looking for someone who will never let him down again, and who truly values an affectionate companion at their side. Your new best friend is just one click away.
