Alfa was very close to being euthanized because he just could not stand being in a kennel. But who would? Being confined to a cell e never let out to run or play. Yep that is what happened to Alfa also known as Alfie. Once he entered the shelter environment they didn’t let him out for 45 days. We rescued him and immediately started rehabilitating him so he could decompress and feel normal again. He has done wonderfully and is the happiest boy! Very loving and chill. Walks great in leash. Gets along with other large dogs. He does have prey drive so he is not a good match with cats and d all dogs. He loves his human and is a very quick learner. A behaviorist once said if Alfie that he was so smart and learned so fast that he had never met a dog like Alfie. He is almost 3 years old, neutered and with all his shots.
