Randi is a sweet, compact cattle dog mix who walks easily on leash. She is a little unsure in the shelter enviroment but improving with daily walks. In playgroups, Randi’s instincts speak loud and clear. Her herding skills are very much intact, and she’s always tuned in to what’s happening around her. Because of that, she’d likely do best in a home without cats or small critters who might trigger those instincts. Randi is a great, manageable size and would be an excellent companion for someone who understands sensitive, intelligent dogs and is willing to give her time to decompress. With patience, routine, and a calm home, we believe Randi will blossom into a loyal, devoted partner. Randi recently met some social dogs at our shelter and seemed uncomfortable. She's a bit socially awkward with other dogs in playgroups. We hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs.
