About Elvis
I am more than just a hound dog...I’m Elvis — the King of Rock and Roll in a 10 pound body, and I’m looking for my forever stage to call home. I’m about 3 years old, and even though I’ve got a lot of energy and brains, life hasn’t always been easy for me. I was found as a stray, and because of that, the world can still feel like a pretty scary place sometimes. I’m a very nervous boy, especially in new environments or around new people… but once I start to feel safe, you’ll see my true star quality shine through. I’m a smart, energetic little guy who wants to do the right thing — I’m just still working on my house manners. With gentle guidance, consistency, and a calm routine, I’ll keep learning and improving every day. I’m also a social pup when it comes to other animals — I get along well with dogs and cats, and I’d do best in a home with another dog to help me feel more confident. One important thing to know: I likely have some anxiety, and I may have a hard time being left home alone. A quiet home with people who are home more often than not would be my dream. I’ll need someone with a big heart, a calm voice, and a lot of patience. With time, love, and stability, I know I’ll settle in and become less anxious as I learn that I’m finally safe. So if you’ve been waiting for a loyal little legend to join your life…I’m ready to be your Forever Elvis. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
