ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS FENCED YARD AGE APPROPRIATE CANINE COMPANION Meet this adorable dachshund Frankie. He is about 6 years old and weighs appx 11lbs. Sweet, curious and full of tail wags. He was recently surrendered from his life in a breeding facility and just learning how to be a dog. He is searching for a forever family that will understand that he is still learning and will be patient thru the process. Frankie is still figuring asking to go outside. Leash walking is next to learn on the to-do list. Frankie is very shy and needs to feel safe before he wants to be picked up and cuddled. That's all part of the learning stage. He needs a fenced backyard and another dog his size would be great.
