About Frankie
Frankie is a small, red dachshund with short fur, about 6 years old. He’s new to life outside of a breeding facility and still discovering how to enjoy being a regular house dog. Sweet but shy, Frankie expresses his curiosity with gentle tail wags but gets easily overwhelmed by new situations. He isn’t yet house trained and is still working on asking to go outside and hasn’t learned to walk on a leash yet. Frankie needs a fenced yard for safe exploring and will do best with another calm, small dog to help show him the ropes. He approaches affection at his own pace and needs a patient adopter who understands his slower adjustment. Frankie does get along with other dogs and cats, but he’ll thrive with kind guidance, structure, and time. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
