About Simon Sez
Simon Sez wants out of the shelter, plain and simple. He's a four or five-year-old orange tabby Domestic Short Hair in great health, despite testing FIV positive. That just means he should be indoors and with cats who won't fight—FIV only spreads through deep bites, and otherwise, Simon can live a normal, happy life. Simon gets along with every cat at the rescue, but he's a quietly affectionate type and tends to blend into the background. When visitors come, he doesn’t fight for attention; he’ll just look your way from his cozy bed, hoping someone actually notices him. Over time, Simon has grown more withdrawn, losing confidence that he’ll find a lap or soft voice to call his own. He’s still longing for real companionship, ready to offer all the comfort and warmth he has. If you want a true friend—one who purrs for more than just a meal—Simon is the cat for you. He’s even available on a foster basis for the right family, just for a shot at being loved instead of overlooked. Simon Sez: "Come get me!" Click apply to start the adoption process.
