About Poppy
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Poppy is an 11-week-old Hound/Pit Bull Terrier mix who was once a stray in South Carolina, but now has the chance at a fresh start up north. Safe and happy in foster care, she is searching for the perfect family to call her own. This sweet, happy-go-lucky pup has a truly wonderful temperament. Poppy loves spending time with other dogs and is friendly to everyone she meets. Her classic puppy curiosity shines through her playful, adventurous spirit, balanced by a loving and affectionate side. From exploring the yard and playing with canine companions to soaking up cuddles from her people, Poppy approaches every moment with joy and enthusiasm. In foster care, Poppy is learning important skills like potty training, crate training, and good puppy manners. Like any young puppy, she’ll need continued guidance, structure, and encouragement as she grows, with a supportive family who’s ready to help her blossom into a well-mannered adult dog. She will be fully vetted before adoption, including age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. Poppy is hoping to find a dedicated family who understands that puppies require time, patience, and love—and is ready to be her forever home. If you are ready for the adventure, excitement, and responsibility of raising a puppy, Poppy could be the perfect fit for you. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
