Handsome Mikey is the poster boy for a companion breed! We believe he is a Maltese mix. He came to us as a stray with his sister Mindy. They were running around a neighborhood for several weeks where people in the neighborhood were all feeding them. They are both a little chubby and need to lose a pound or two. Can you spoil them with love not food? Mikey loves healthy treats like carrots and apples. Mikey is 1.5 years old and weighs a hefty 17.5 pounds. He needs a conscientious owner that will get him to a healthy weight. He is a calm and quiet boy. He came to us severely matted and had to be shaved to his skin in some places. He will require regular professional grooming to look his best. He keeps his kennel clean at night. He loves walks and behaves well on the leash. He loves car rides.
