For a puppy, he’s doing exceptionally well: he’s house-trained, knows how to use a dog door, knows how to sit, stay, lie down and come when called. He also knows the drop and fetch command and has even learned to patiently wait for his dinner until given the okay. His intelligence and eagerness to please really shine. When meeting new people or dogs, Darby can be a bit shy, but with gentle guidance and continued socialization, he’s gaining confidence every day. He currently lives with two playful dogs and loves to romp and play, and he also shares his home with a small senior dog whom he treats with great respect. Darby gets along fine with docile cats as long as they don’t run or act aggressive.
